A kill switch you can trust with 80,000 pounds.
The kill switch engages only when the vehicle is stationary — parked or idling — and it will not shut down a moving truck. Unlike starter-interrupt immobilizers, it does not wait for a restart that an idling tractor may never give it. Every command is permission-gated: sub-accounts control who can view, who can geofence, and who can immobilize, with a full audit log. And nothing activates until we verify ownership of every vehicle.
Sixty trucks. Zero missed loads.
Installation runs about an hour per vehicle and never has to interrupt a route. We build the wave plan with you — a handful of trucks per scheduled downtime window, at your yard or your mechanic — and every price we quote comes with that plan attached. Self-installers get the wiring diagram and video; any shop can do it from our one-page install sheet.
Unauthorized use
The truck you can see but can't get back
Terminated contractor still running your truck. An ex-driver with a copy of the keys. The police call it a civil matter and step away, while tolls and tickets pile up in your name. Plain GPS just lets you watch it happen. With Horus it's your truck and your title: the next time it stops — parked or idling — you shut the engine down from your phone, and it doesn't move again until you say so.
The trailer line item pays for itself.
Every stop is timestamped at the geofence line. Next time a shipper disputes detention, you send the entry and exit times instead of an argument. Recovering one $300 detention invoice covers a trailer unit for two years.
Terms you don't need a lawyer for.
- No long-term contracts — month-to-month, 30-day notice
- Free redeployment
- Verified hardware failures replaced
- Equipment returned on cancellation — see the fee schedule, no surprises
The pilot
No free pilots. The exit is the test.
We tried free pilots. Gear that costs nothing gets left in the box, and thirty days later everyone's chasing shipping labels. So the test is simpler and fairer: month-to-month, no contract. Put units on the trucks that worry you most — the idlers, the ones with contractors — and if Horus doesn't earn its keep, cancel with 30 days' notice and send the hardware back. You're risking one month, not a three-year agreement. That's the whole point.

Fleet questions, answered.
GPS alone shows you where your truck is — it doesn't get it back, and police often call it a civil matter when there was a contract. With Horus, it's your truck and your title: once it stops — parked or idling — you shut the engine down from your phone, and it stays down until you say so. The conversation changes once the truck can't move.
Your device rental for the first 24 months, the SIM card, and setup. There's nothing to buy — and after month 24 there's nothing new to pay: service simply continues at your same monthly rate.
No. Month-to-month with 30-day notice. Annual billing saves 17% if you want it.
Fees are refundable only within 3 days of payment — and if equipment has already shipped, shipping both ways comes out of the refund. After that, fees already paid are non-refundable. Send the equipment back within 30 days of cancellation — return shipping is on you — and nothing more is billed. Unreturned or damaged equipment is billed at the published fee schedule — no surprises, it's linked right on the pricing page.
No — by design. It engages only when the vehicle is stationary — parked or idling, engine on or off. Unlike starter-interrupt immobilizers that only block the next restart, it can shut down a running engine once the vehicle stops moving. It's there to keep a vehicle from being driven away, not to stop one on the road.
No. Horus installs alongside your ELD with no interference, and we never touch your ELD or HOS data.
About an hour per vehicle, hardwired. Do it yourself with our guide and video, hand our one-page sheet to any mechanic, or use a partner shop (Illinois today — ask about your area).
Yes — sub-accounts with role permissions. Dispatch can watch without the power to immobilize; every command is logged.
Move the device to the next vehicle free. That's the point of renting the hardware.
