Common questions

No — by design. It engages only when the vehicle is stationary — parked or idling, engine on or off. Unlike starter-interrupt immobilizers that only block the next restart, it can shut down a running engine once the vehicle stops moving. It's there to keep a vehicle from being driven away, not to stop one on the road.

About an hour per vehicle, hardwired. Do it yourself with our guide and video, hand our one-page sheet to any mechanic, or use a partner shop (Illinois today — ask about your area).

Move the device to the next vehicle free. That's the point of renting the hardware.

Fees are refundable only within 3 days of payment — and if equipment has already shipped, shipping both ways comes out of the refund. After that, fees already paid are non-refundable.
