Horus GPS

A GPS tracker with a kill switch that actually holds up.

Plug-in trackers die the moment a thief pulls them. The Horus 3800 is hardwired and hidden, works from 9–90V — a sedan to a Class 8 tractor — and pairs live tracking with a remote kill switch you control from your phone.

How the kill switch works

You send the command from the app; the engine can't be restarted once the vehicle is stationary. It engages only when the vehicle is stationary — by design, it will not stop a moving vehicle. It's there to keep a vehicle from being driven away, not to stop one on the road.

Who can use it

Only the verified owner. We confirm vehicle ownership before every activation, and sub-accounts control who on your team can view, geofence, or immobilize — with every command logged.

Parked or idling - not just the next restart

Most competing kill switches are starter interrupts: they only block the next start attempt, which means an idling truck - and semis idle about 1,800 hours a year - is wide open. The Horus kill switch acts on the running engine: parked or idling, once the vehicle is stationary, you can shut it down and keep it down.

What it costs

$100 activation (device rental for 24 months, SIM, and setup) plus $30 a month per vehicle — about a dollar a day. Month-to-month, no long-term contracts, free redeployment between vehicles.

  • No long-term contracts — month-to-month, 30-day notice
  • Free redeployment
  • Verified hardware failures replaced
  • Equipment returned on cancellation — see the fee schedule, no surprises

Common questions

No — by design. It engages only when the vehicle is stationary — parked or idling, engine on or off. Unlike starter-interrupt immobilizers that only block the next restart, it can shut down a running engine once the vehicle stops moving. It's there to keep a vehicle from being driven away, not to stop one on the road.

Only the verified owner. We confirm vehicle ownership before every activation.

Your device rental for the first 24 months, the SIM card, and setup. There's nothing to buy — and after month 24 there's nothing new to pay: service simply continues at your same monthly rate.

No. Month-to-month with 30-day notice. Annual billing saves 17% if you want it.

The fee runs the cellular connection, the servers, the platform, alerts, and support. Watch out for “no monthly fee” trackers: they charge a bigger amount upfront instead — often because the seller would rather have your money before you find out how the product holds up. Behind that price you'll usually find spotty coverage, servers with no security accountability, and nobody picking up the phone when a truck goes missing.

You'll have live location, movement alerts, and history — and our team works with you and law enforcement on recovery.
